The academic year of the school is divided into two semesters
I semester : May to September
II semester : October to April.

Competitions build confidence and a sense of bonding amongst the students for their Alma Mater. Such exposure is beneficial to a student’s development. Inter-School Competitions not only enhances the competitive spirit among the students but also helps them to learn socialization skills.
Morning Assembly
The Morning Assembly adorned by the Special Presentations is an essential part of the School schedule. Each section has its own special day to conduct the assembly with the help of their Class Teacher in the course of the academic year. The Assembly is an opportunity for displaying the talent of students. It fosters the spirit of group activity, leadership and value building. It also acknowledges the efforts of the silent learners in the class who are equally participative in organizing the class assembly.
There is a system of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation. Along with the Terminal Examinations, Internal Examinations are also conducted in each term, a report of the academic achievements of each student is given to the parents.
Homework assignments not only give parents an insight into the school curriculum but also offer a greater opportunity for parent child participation in the child’s education. We, at SSVVK, design home works, which are activities that the children would look forward to doing. Thus these home work assignments make learning interesting and fun filled for students. We follow a schedule and planned homework for all subjects.
